World Children’s Day Is TODAY

Today is World Children’s Day! Since this is a Boy Scout troop made up of kids, it is a good day to know about.

This day was started 31 years ago today by the United Nations General Assembly, to recognize the rights of children around the world. UNICEF plays a huge part in advertising World Children’s Day and they want you to wear blue in support.

Nantahala Trip

This weekend we will be going to Nantahala to camp and whitewater raft.

The guidelines say there should be no carpooling.

We will be camping for two nights (Aug. 21 – 22)
People are required to bring their own food and must sleep in their own tents.

Remember to bring a mask, although you will not be required to wear them on on the river.

There will be no lake cleanup due to NOC losing the rights to the lake.

Remember to follow all the guidelines that are told to you buy guides and other staff members.
